Due to rapid business growth at Bosch Industrial, we are currently recruiting for an Industrial Boiler Service Engineers in the Field Service Department.
You will be responsible for the service & maintenance of highly advanced and efficient Bosch Industrial Boiler equipment throughout UK.
The Role
The Industrial Service and Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for meeting the service maintenance and repair needs of our customer’s equipment across the UK, which includes;- Carrying out planned service/maintenance/statutory inspections on Bosch Industrial Boiler Equipment – both steam and hot water boilers.
- Ensuring that equipment works to its specification.
- Together with Admin staff, scheduling and coordinating planned work, ensure that work is executed safely, efficiently and in timely manner.
- Generating the RAMS for the work to be undertaken
- Executing, creating, and carrying out test procedures
- Investigating problems, diagnosing, and repairing faults
- Troubleshooting
- Liaising with installation/project engineers and managers, providing necessary technical support where required
- Writing reports and documentation
- Providing technical support to the customers and work colleagues
- Delivering adequate training to maintenance and operative staff where appropriate.
- Providing structured training and support to Apprentices and Trainee Engineers
- Taking part in training programme, attending various trainings in UK and Germany.
- Ensuring company quality procedures are fully implemented.
- Ensuring compliance to relevant Industry Standards and Regulations
- Ensuring all the work and practices are carried out in accordance with current H&S legislation and the company H&S policy and procedures.
- Communicating effectively at all levels and feedback any relevant information to improve product reliability and good working practices.
Your Experience
A minimum 3 year’s experience of as a Service Engineer coupled to good practical knowledge on:
- Steam Boilers and ancillary equipment
- Hot Water Boilers and ancillary equipment
- Burner equipment (gas & oil)
- Boiler and burner controls
- Hydraulic systems
- Water Treatment
Skills & Attributes- Ability to read technical drawings / schematics applicable to the job
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and confident individual
- Very good organisational skills
- Commercial awareness
- The ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent team working skills
- Good IT and analytical skills
- The ability to cope with long unsocial hours and working away from home
Qualifications- GAS: IGAS L3, CIGA1, COCN1, BMP1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, LPG
- OIL: OFTEC 201
- Other relevant trainings and qualifications (for example burner training)
